Flat Hatting is a term used by the US Navy for unauthorized , low altitude flying.  The spirit that drives pilots to push the limits, bend the rules a little and get low and fast - "In the weeds!" - is the same spirit that drives others to go farther, faster and higher in their endeavors.  As a former Naval Aviator, race car driver and a sports enthusiast, our founder and President created Flat Hat to promote an active, adventurous lifestyle that encourages people to "push the envelope", give it their all and be the best at whatever sports and activities they enjoy.
